Business Meetings
We will bring together like-minded parties with interests in the Thames Gateway Project. A series of Informative Events has been planned.
The Thames Gateway Business Club will endeavor to hold regular breakfast meetings for those businesses able to attend, bearing in mind our location at Basepoint in East London. These we hope, will be regular once a month. Further details will added here as soon as possible.
Everyone interested is invited to attend our events to create a better understanding of the project and the progress being made. It is our intention to bring the key players(both from government and the private sector) and their representatives to the table to establish ways in which local business interests can best be served. This is your opportunity to challenge government agencies as to how local SME's can become involved, as this has long been the declared intent of Government.
Make no mistake our views will play a major role, and become increasingly important as this massive project - the largest in the European Community gets underway. It's going to happen, so let's make sure our communities are improved and not simply sacrificed to the continued increasing demand for housing. Once towns are built and the infrastructure is in place there will be no going back.
Special Meetings
Periodically the group will arrange to meet and embrace as many networking groups as possible from council Chambers of Commerce, BNI, BRE, Essex Business network etc, to the L.D.A.(London Docklands Authority),government agencies and others to exchange views and provide updates for our members in London, Kent and Essex.
